Through a PPA contract, Inelco will buid a 307 kwp solar system for Induma, located in Manizales one of the larges cities in Colombia.

Inelco’s Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency business unit recently signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with one of the oldest and most traditional companies from Manizales, Caldas. Induma, the 60 year old, family owned company, agreed to a 306.9 kWp solar energy project, consisting of 660 monocristalline Jinko solar panels, each of 465W. These solar panels, which will be installed on the factory rooftop, will supply around 26.3% of the total energy need and will produce around $13.000.000 of anual savings, for 20 years, requering no upfront costs.

Inelco, as their partner for the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy pojects, will invest, build, operate and maintain the solar system, and sell the energy produced to Induma for a discount, in comparison to the traditional grids energy price.

This project is the epitome of a win-win business relationship.
