The family-owned firm raised $ 150 million pesos (aprox 41,000 USD) through the ‘crowdfunding’ platform of the Colombian Stock Exchange.
The family business Inelco, raised $ 150 million pesos (aprox 41,000 USD), becoming the second project to be financed through a2censo, the crowdfunding platform of the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC).
The initiative based on renewable energy was supported by 100 investors who put their capital at a rate of 10.5% effective annual (E.A.) over a period of 24 months.
(Companies will save 40% in costs with self-generation energy).
The financed company has provided electrical engineering, voice and data networks, building automation and renewable energy services for more than 70 years in Colombia and is the second to obtain capital through the platform after Alegra, a technology company.
“We are very proud to provide growing companies with a complementary financing alternative to bank credit, through capital markets,” said Juan Pablo Córdoba, president of the BVC.
Additionally, four more campaigns will be active on the platform until February 21, which seek financing of up to $ 400 million pesos.
These projects are: Monbel Trading Partners S.A.S, Ingelec Group S.A.S, Proctek S.A.S and 3Biomat S.A.A, which belong to the sectors: agribusiness, construction, 4.0 technologies and biotechnology, respectively.
